In our world of ipods and Twitter and 24hr connectivity we find it hard to stop and think – but that is exactly what’s needed if we’re going to grow into the likeness of Christ. Disciplined reflection like this – meditation on the things of God – is the first step in responding to what God has done for us and said to us.

One week to go! It’s getting exciting. We’ve had flyers over the whole of Gateshead – and already people are ringing to find out more, or turning up for services as one person did last week. Two of my friends got the flyers and talked about coming to htg for the first time. From what I’ve heard I’m not the only one and many of you have been able to talk about church with friends. I’m praying lots of them come.
